Our Story

My name is Éva.
I am a midwife, and over the years, I have supported women with very different journeys. Unique pregnancies, changing bodies, recurring doubts, and always the same observation: taking care of oneself often became secondary, due to a lack of simple and reassuring solutions.

During my own pregnancy, this realization became evident.
I also felt how difficult it was to find suitable, gentle care without having to ask a thousand questions.

I wanted to create what I was missing at that moment: an obvious beauty that requires neither effort nor compromise.
This is how Akna was born.

Akna refers to the goddess of fertility in Mayan mythology, associated with the body's ability to create, transform, and go through cycles.

Around this vision, I gathered a team of committed women, driven by the same demand for gentleness, simplicity, and respect for the body, to support women in this intimate experience.
